Virtues of reciting Surah Kahf on Friday
- Sayyiduna Abu Sa`id (RA) reports that Rasulullah (SAW) said: “Whoever recites Surat al-Kahf on Friday, A light shall shine forth for him between the two Fridays.
[Haakim, Baihaqi]
- Sayyiduna Abu Darda’ (RA) reports that the Nabi of Allah (SAW) said: If anyone learns by heart (And Recites) the first ten verses of the Surah al-Kahf, he will be protected from the fitnah of Dajjal. (Sahih Muslim)
Virtues of Reciting Surah Dukhaan
- The senior Tabi’i, Abu Rafi’ (Rahimahullah) said:
“Whoever will recite Surah Dukhan on the Eve of Friday, by morning he is forgiven, and he will be wed to a Hur (damsel of Jannah)”
(Sunan Darimi, Hadith: 3464)
N.B. This is the statement of the Tabi’i and it is not a Hadith of Rasulullah (SAW).
2. Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (RA) narrates that the messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “whoever recites ‘Haa Meem Ad-Dukhaan’ on Friday night, he shall be forgiven.
